Investors fulfil several investment conditions: buy or rent real estate, pay government fees, and contribute a charitable contribution. They also confirm the presence of capital in the amount of € 500,000.

Permanent residence status in Malta is granted for life. The permanent residence card needs to be changed every five years - much less frequently than any residence permit card. You can apply for citizenship in Malta after five years from the date of obtaining permanent residence.

Internal due diligence

Due Diligence is a critical step in the application process for citizenship of Malta. Compliance with investment conditions

Up to 8 months

Residency Malta Agency will notify the lawyers of the approval of the application. As soon as the approval is received, the countdown begins to fulfil the investment conditions..

— the remaining EUR 30,000 of the administration fee is payable within two months from the date of approval

— it takes eight months to pay the state contribution, charitable donation, purchase or rent an apartment

— at the same time, you need to take out health insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000 per person

Travel to Malta for taking biometrics
